about

'To become a man, you have to go through pretty rigorous stuff that is pretty mind-numbing. And hurtful.'

This quote (from track Nr. 3 'Just to make it 17') marks the beginning of my attempt to produce the retrospective soundtrack for the process of growing up as a boy. »Circadian Rhythms« is the result, the sound of an elapsed childhood, from daydreaming nostalgia to fear and insecurity.

This album has originally been released as CD-R on laridae.at in 2007.

"With just a few notes per piece, “Circadian Rhythms” conveys striking landscapes of solitude, melancholy, drifting awareness, bizarre majesty and elevating energy." [Tobias Fischer, tokafi]
