John Miller I just really like this mix between breakbeat and eastern martial arts sounds, really great stuff. Favorite track: Sunset Training Lesson (Private Beach).

Christoph Franzen Photophob obviously had too much time when he created this. It is a dense collection of humor, martial arts description with a lot of wisdom and oldschool sound experiments that almost are childish. But very, very entertaining if you´re driving long distance on the Autobahn. Strange, sould-refreshing beast, this!

about

For years i have been carrying this one tracktitle in my head - "Trenchcoat Swordfight". Vague VHS-blurred memories of Christopher Lambert in Highlander accompanied it ... out of tune synth basslines ... this sort of things. And of course: razor-sharp sword-hit-samples over the Amen break. For years i didn't know what to do with this idea.

Then came the Ninjas and everything made sense.
